Sharon is the principal of dta studio and attends to every process of the business, including client liaison, estimating, design, prepress, print and production management.

The business was founded in 1991 where she managed sometimes up to seven staff, in both design, sales and administrative roles. Valuable experience in management techniques, client networking, tendering processes and
financial control were gained in her role as Managing Director during this time.

In 2005, Sharon had a six-month break from the studio to spend time with her new baby. The time off was an opportunity to reflect, and then recharge and revitalise dta studio as a boutique design studio with a smaller more select client base, offering exceptional personalised one-on-one service.

Previous employment has included Education Queensland for three years, and six months with a typesetting bureau.
